ladies of Instagram I can’t get enough of

What is the first thing you do when you wake up? Now I’m not a morning person in the least bit, it takes me about 20-30 minutes and laying there, reading in bed and digesting information before I feel safe enough to get up and face the day. During that time I like to read snippets from a few newsletters I receive , check tumblr, and of course scroll through Instagram. While I don’t follow many people I’m not friends with in real life the ones that I  I absolutely love.

Your future self

Have you ever sat down and thought about how you want to see yourself? It’s kind of an odd thing. I find that I have these random thoughts in my head of not just who I am, but this dream me. For me the the imaginary me is far more articulate, stylish, a healthy eater, and does yoga. After thinking about this the other day I decided I that I want to actively start working to be that person. My first step–actually doing yoga.

Labeless living (kind of)

For awhile I kept seeing a pin that had several mason jars with white text that said “Living without labels.” I might be remembering this slightly wrong so if I am forgive me, I wasn’t able to find it again. I didn’t read the blog post at first. Frankly, I found it vaguely annoying. This partly had to do with the amount that it was coming up in my feed (thanks Pinterest) but mostly it was the fact that it’s very difficult to separate yourself from all companies and rid your life of labels. Basically when I saw this pin I just rolled my eyes and assumed it was another high and mighty post about well… fill in the blank.

6 underwear brands to know

There is something funny about underwear. They are one of the few items that are so close to us, they can make us feel incredibly confident or put a major kink in our day. Recently I went through my underwear drawer and got rid of most of them (it’s embarrassing what I was holding on to). Since then I have needed to buy more and have a very difficult time finding any to be excited about  (read sweatshop free, cute, and made to actually be worn).
